Μιλάμε για το anti-drone radar “ΤΗΛΕΜΑΧΟΣ” .
Το εν λόγω σύστημα παρουσιάσθηκε σε συνέντευξη μου στην εφημερίδα “DAILY NEWS”, κατά την διάρκεια της έκθεσης “EDEX” τον Δεκ. 2018 στο Κάιρο της Αιγύπτου…

HAI AT EDEX WITH TELEMACHUS
Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI) is offering its new Telemachus integrated system—a border surveillance and protection system—to countries in the region to meet the needs of the armed forces, coast guard, police, and others for a wide range of missions.
“The system can be utilized for UAS-UAV-Drone detection and suppression,” Charalampos Papaspyros, Vice President of HAI, tells Daily News.
The system has a fully autonomous operation system, combining FMCW Surveillance Radar with Electro-Optic Video Sensors.
“The system can properly perform Electronic-Scanning Radar target detection up to a range of 20 kilometers using the Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave radars” Papaspyros says.
“It is designed as fully man portable with long autonomous operation for harsh environmental use,” Papaspyros says.
The system can be configured for both mobile and fixed installations.
HAI is looking at a possible cooperation with the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) in this area to meet potential requirement for the Telemachus….
